Vintage RARE CUTLIFF Cast Steel, Albany, NY, Hewing Axe ~ CRACKED ~ 1 of a Kind?: Cracked as shown. Nice original patina. Nice Visible maker's mark. Nice maker's mark. This axe came out about 35 years ago and has been hanging on my basement wall. I researched Cutliff Tools / Axes and came up blank. It was also featured on a FB Axe site and no one had ever heard of this maker. I put in a lot of photos so you will know what you are getting.Would be a great axe to repair or hang up again.
