VERY RARE! Vintage/Antique Circa 1896-1917 Disston Phila U.S.A. Wooden & Cast Iron ICE Saw Tiller Handle. You are bidding on a very hard to find and VERY RARE! Cast Iron & Wood Antique Circa 1896-1917 Disston Phila U.S.A. ICE Saw Tiller Handle that's in very nice used condition for being well over 100 + years old (see pics). Handle is missing the hardware that would have been used to connect the handle to the saw blade. These old handles were designed to be used horizontally or vertically. As you can see this handle is set up to use horizontally, but could be positioned to use vertically if you wanted it that way (see all pics). There's no breaks, cracks or repairs on any of the cast iron parts of the handle (see pics). Both wooden handles do have some age related small cracks on them, but they are not serious at all (see all pics). There's still a bit of the original BLACK paint on the cast iron shank of the handle (see pics). The wooden handles are 15" long from end to end. And the cast iron shank is 17" long. The handle weighs in at 3 pounds 3.2 oz. If you are a DISSTON & SONS saw collector or enthusiast, you will not be disappointed in this handle at all. PICTURES TELL THE STORY..
