Description

In the early 1920’s the Stanley company bought out the plane division of the Union Mfg. Co. rather than scrap the Union No.41 planes they removed the No.41 from the body, and the Union name from the handle. They painted these area’s black. This one has the remnants of the Stanley decal on the handle. I am not sure if anyone knows how many of these conversions were done or how many have survived after 100 plus years!
