Rare antique G & S.I.R.R. Gulf & Ship Island Railroad wrench. It measures approx. 23 1/2" long The Gulf and Ship Island was a short line that operated between Gulfport and Jackson, Mississippi from 1897-46. It was a major lumber shipping line from the pine forests of South Mississippi. The G & S I was instrumental in the growth of the city of Hattiesburg and many other towns along its route. Condition - Some wear and rust as seen.
