Vaughan & Bushnell Mfg. Co. (V&B), Chicago, Illinois c.1900 Hammer A beautiful small machinists’ cross pein hammer measuring 11.25” in overall length. Head measures 3 inches in length. Weight, including handle, is 8 oz.. Base of handle is stamped with nomenclature. Handle has gorgeous tone and patina. Handle is ever-so-slightly curved (photo #9 and #10) and head has the tiniest amount of wobble. Head has the classic V&B Eagle and its surfaces are in great condition. This hammer is featured in V&B’s 1903 tool catalog, which can be downloaded from their site in its entirety. I have printed two pages from it and will send them along with the hammer for reference.
