Description
Interesting old plane. Marked Detroit Tool Co and looks like it has a no 13 stamped on the front and has a Sandusky Tool Co iron. There are two irons included. The iron that is worn was the original iron but I had a spare Sandusky iron of the same size in my spare irons. The plane has a slight curved/rounded bottom. The replacement blade will need to be sharpened to fit the shape. Blade is 2-1/4" wide and plane is 16" long. The original blade still has a little life left. I kept the original iron because there is very little info on the company Detroit Tool co and might be a connection with Sandusky Tool Co. Maker's marks on the irons are slightly different. The plane is solid but has some stress cracks on the ends. There is a minor stress crack near side of mouth and top edges in front of iron. But still a solid plane. Lots of pics, look over pics well. Comes as seen in pics. Any questions just ask. Please see the shipping details for shipping prices. There are multiple shipping options. All shipping options will be available at checkout.
