RARE Antique 1900s M.C. Ogden No. 7 HH Forged Steel Tin Snips 14" Heavy Shears ►► View our store, Estate Sale Secrets, here ◄◄ ►► View our other Vintage Tools here ◄◄ These heavy antique M. C. Ogden #7 tin snips are in excellent condition and were created from forged steel and marked M. C. Ogden 7 HH . Condition: They are VERY clean with a wonderful aged patina, tight and solid, open/close smoothly, and are in great functional shape with zero rust. They show typical wear from normal use and show no signs of any damage resulting from misuse or neglect. Lightly restored: Thoroughly cleaned, wire wheel brushed, and lightly oiled. These appear to be fairly rare as we were unable to locate much information other than excerpts from a catalog featuring Ogden's tools from 1899 as well as numerous patents he filed between 1880-1910. "M. C. Ogden was a company that produced axes from 1882 to 1905. They made 10" extra deep broad axes that were hafted for left-handed use."
